Randy Jack Brings Creativity Beyond Measure - Flyah Review

In the world dominated by Pop, there are people who have a love for good old fashioned country side native music. Leading the charge is a sensational artist named Randy Jack. Releasing the heavy hitting album, "When April Comes Around", Randy Jack really has the talent that people are looking for.

The hot single, "My Little Whiskey Maker", is a joy to hear. When I first turned it on, I didn't know what to expect. With the sound of harmonicas with the strumming guitar, it definitely lifted the mood. Randy goes into a story that is quite interesting. The details presented in the story was almost like an audio suspenseful novel. The story was easy to follow even though it has a fast pace. Reminds me of the theme song of "The Beverly Hillbillies". Honestly, a lot of country songs are based on parties and just having a good time.. This song passes the test of creativity beyond measure.

"My Turn to Cry" is another hit single that slows things down with more of a heartfelt message. This love song takes you through the emotional roller coaster of losing his spouse behind his own mistakes. Now this is a subject that a lot of people can relate to as we all experience heartbreak when we find out that it is too late to fix the problems. Relationships can be a tough struggle and sometimes we react on impulse instead of trusting one another and being compassionate. What I enjoyed about the song is that after mentioning the title the first time, he goes into a bridge that kind of makes the song formless but then he returns with a similar formula for the second verse.

Another song that i enjoyed from Randy Jack is entitled "Over Oklahoma". In this song, he bids farewell to a city that no longer fits his standards. I can imagine of a town full of trouble and scary past situations that leads him to spread his wings and take off. This song is very relative because I come from a city that carry a lot of my subconscious pain leading me to live on the country side.

Although He is not the songwriter of the songs mentioned in this review he did a great job performing them!

If I have to rate this album on the scale of 1 to 10, I will give him a 9 for creativity, great songwriting ability, sticking to the core roots of country music, and originality at the same time.
