Terock is #Flyah

I proved them wrong and it feels so good...
That cocky headstrong line from his conquering - the- world - athem Feels so good is a great intro to the world of Terock.
Terock grew up in Tampa, Florida as a drummer, and a rabid fan of the cultural phenomenon of hip hop and other genres of music. While still in elementary school Terock's older brother wrote the budding artist's first hip hop song. As a result, it ignited Terock's passion to write and perform his own material. His influences include elite rap artist such as nas, all the way down to the pioneers of southern hip hop the duo Outkast. Moreover, Terock has a unique interest and passion for an unlikely musical era. Terock asserts he has always been a fan of down south bass driven beats, but he was atrracted to the lyricism of up north rappers.
I was very obessed with the lyrical content of rappers such as Nas , KRS One , but I was also captivated by the production of Legendary southern producers such as  the Dungeon family, Mannie Fresh and other southern producers as well.
Terock graduated from being a novice artist to a well respected artist in his region. As he rose up the southern hip hop rankings, the traditional music business was frustrating and unnessary obstacle. He turned that negative in to a progressive, positive force by releasing his music on his independent label, which he dubbed 8522 music. Now with six full length releases and over a dozens singles in his musical body of work, Terock continue to pay his dues by constantly working.
In 2003 Terock's persistent hardwork finally paid off, when his Greenridge the untold story album garnered him a national distribution deal. After release multiple singles Terock released the follow-up to his Greenridge album titled White Kollar Hustlin. The album was released nationally through Southern music distribution(The distribution company that launched the careers of Ludacris, Lil Jon , Ying Yangs twins, and Pastor Troy).Thereafter, in 2010 Terock released his Black Market music mixtape.
The Black Market Mixtape was an exhibtion of my growth as an artist. I was able to utilize a mxiture of concepts that I picked up from my musical influences, and combined them to come up with a very creative project.
After taking time away from music, Terock is back and working on his untitled upcoming project which is slated to be released in the spring. The first track from the project is a Promotional single titled " Nothing to lose". With his high level of diversity and his never to take chances approach, Terock will prove to be a bankable act in the field of music that appreciates cliches over originality.
