Seven is #FLyah

This multi talented artist, producer, and C.E.O known as Seven, got his foot in the game originally as a freelance producer working for independent and major labels such as, Sony Music, Ruthless Records and eventually the infamous Death Row Records. Seven began his passion for music growing up on the sunny streets of southern California bumping legendary sounds of the originators of West Coast Rap, N.W.A, ATL, Dr. Dre, Dj Quik, and of course the ever so present sound of 60s and 70s oldies and old school funk. Highly influenced by the combination of the music and the street lifestyle, it lead to the creativity expressed in his tracks, that bring back that rhythmatical flow of real life. Having the opportunity to work with many major and independent artists along the road due to his success, he soon began to develop his own rap style which he combined with a little singing. Now after perfecting his talents, he has evolved into one of today s hottest artists in the independent game. Having been a member of Delegation car club (10 years active ) Seven expressed his point of view on today’s West Coast Lowriding Hip Hop lifestyle. In his melodic old school funk sound with a twist of that gangster pimp conversation, he represents his lifestyle and culture. Through out his career as a producer he has produced, co written, and engineered over 16 albums from start to finish, and has produced tracks and featured in over 30 albums worldwide. As an artist he has commercially released 2 full length albums written and produced by him, "7 Million Ways" 2001, and "F.A.M.E" 2009, and 2 mixtapes "Family Business" 2006, and "Public Enemy" 2010. In 2004 he toured along with fellow rapper CAZ as an opening act for Bone Thugz n Harmony, and in 2007 headlined his own tour in Japan along with fellow rapper Mr. Shadow. Seven has also been featured, and interviewed by many media outlets and magazines such as, Music Connection, Latin Rap Magazine, Wheels Magazine, Custom Lowriding Japan, Rolling Stone Japan, Dubcnn.com, Allhiphop.com, L.A.Times.com, and hiphopdx.com. Seven is currently wrapping up his 3rd solo album titled "Smooth Criminal" due to release Mid 2012 through LRT/Ingrooves. His last two singles "Get To Know U" and "Life Ain't Easy" got spins on several college and commercial radio stations across the U.S., as well as on line radio sites on the net

CHECK OUT GEM - FLYAH EXLUSIVE INTERVIEW

GEM is to headline the Los Angeles Power Women Summit in December, bringing this new style of medical-music to the masses. She has been able to make use of her time in isolation: perfecting her EP, creating a YouTube channel and working on a plethora of collaborations with other global artists. The new single, If I’m Honest, is arguably the first of its kind. It has been specifically produced in the key of B. The musical note B is associated with the crown chakra, the 7th chakras in the Buddhist tantric system. Buddhists believe that by listening to music in this key, corresponding to the crown chakra, it can heal and awaken the listener, helping to release stored negative energy and energetic blockages in the body. WE HAD THE CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH GEM READ WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY!   How long have you been doing music and where you find the inspiration? Music has always been a part of my life, although being visible in the producers chair has been a natural progression over the past 4 ye

Michael Coleman Is back with another Anthem!

WE HAD A CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH MICHAEL COLEMAN, READ WHAT HE HAD TO SAY ABOUT HIS MUSICAL JOURNEY!   Michael Coleman, where are you from and what's it like in your hometown and how did you get the nickname "The Metropolitan Cowboy"?   I was actually born and raised in San Diego, California.  San Diego is just an awesome town although like everywhere else in California, it costs a fortune to live there.  My nickname, “The Metropolitan Cowboy” actually comes from a television project I was doing a few year’s back. I wrote and produced an adult-oriented sketch comedy show and since I was always dressed with a cowboy hat on and looked metrosexual we decided that should be the name of the show and my brand and I have been called that ever since.   How long have you been songwriting and where do you find the inspiration?   I’ve been writing since I was a kid, however I didn’t decide to take it seriously until I had a milestone birthday , I won’t tell you which one and it wa
