To call The Nobodies Sweet Dreams LP indie rock would be wrong. This record is packed with outstanding and experimental guitar segments, breakdowns, emotionally driven vocals, and all around soul evoking song writing. But it's the way they write the songs that set them apart from the norm. And this record is anything but normal. Sure you can groove to sultry, smooth sounds of songs like "Sunshine lady". Or you can drift away with classic rock tracks like "Play On", a quickly addictive song giving us something we may have heard in songs from decades passed.
The main single "Dolphins and Incense" is an alternative rock song that swells musically and becomes growingly engulfing as you listen.
There is no one genre to pinpoint The Nobodies under, but that is a great thing. It's time to get out of the norm with these guys. You will enjoy this record!
