The Power Rock of Joe Mysterio
A new EP just released from songwriter Joe Mysterio puts the fun back into indie rock. These songs really groove without losing any edge. The three song EP gives off a warm tonality as they show strength in arrangement and guitar work. A clearly evident alternative hard rock influence is notable with most songs while smooth singing drives each one to their polished choruses. But really, the power lies in the wonderfully perfected an attitude laden guitars. There are plenty of musical hooks and a bit of ambience throughout. Over all else is the record lets you indulge your pop needs. The EP is titled simply Joe Mysterio almost as in introduction. And if it is an introduction to the songwriting stylings of the artist, it's a damn good one.
