CBS has a series of layoffs after reevaluating its staff and marketing division. The situation related to Covid 19 has caused the higher power at ViacomCBS to make measurable decisions after several hours passed Wednesday May 27th.

The unemployment rate in the United States economy is on an all time high and programming is slowly trying to return to normalcy.

More than 20 positions had been cut and replacements are not expected to be made until the coast is clear from the coronavirus
