Sivan Langer - The Three Monkeys Somg

Langer’s journey into the world of songwriting began when he decided to form a band with a couple of his schoolmates. He dove into a furious exploration of the guitar, immersing himself in the iconic sounds of 90s rock and grunge. Soon enough, his musical tastes grew to encompass jazz and experimental rock. It was a journey that led him to appreciate the conceptual ideas behind the music as much as their sonic manifestations.  As he continues down the winding path of a musician infatuated with his craft, the culmination of his musical journey is marked by this labor of love and determination, borne out of sheer will and appreciation for the arts. Langer’s fusion of genres, blending classic rock, punk, and even elements of jazz, bears witness to an artist unafraid to explore and transcend boundaries. Sivan’s fusion of genres, blending classic rock, punk, and even elements of jazz, bears witness to an artist unafraid to explore and transcend boundaries. With each note and chor...

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing?  I grew up in Ogdensburg, a small city on the St. Lawrence River on the Canadian border in upstate New York. I was the oldest of five siblings. I think I was singing when I came out of the womb! I fell in love with music at a very young age. My earliest childhood memory, actually, is of me at 3 or 4 years old singing "I wanna Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles into my mother's hairbrush in the mirror while dancing on my parent's bed!  I am obsessed with music!  I worked as a nightclub and radio DJ for over 30 years just so I could be close to music. It's the greatest escape to put on headphones and just live in the moment and get lost in a song. Music has been my confidant, my savior, my escape and my best friend at times.  It's always there when I need it the most and it doesn't judge. What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician? I  make alternative ...

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing? I’m originally from Denver Colorado but over the course of many years have lived in different places, such as Arkansas and Missouri. I grew up in Arkansas with my parents and 3 siblings. My mom home schooled my siblings and I, while my dad worked a couple different jobs, being a pastor and working at a rehab center. It wasn’t until I moved back to Denver when I became interested in music. It was specifically drums that I started putting most of my attention to at the age of 13 and 14. I started posting videos of myself making drum covers and I would do that for years up till now. That all lead me to where I am now. I decided on top of drumming I wanted to start singing, and that is the start of where my music comes in!  What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician? I make whatever my heart is feeling but so far it’s mainly been in the genre of pop. I grew up in church ...
