On a Inconspicuous street located on the south side of Storm Valley lives an anti- Hero by the name of Relly Santiago aka The Postman.    Being a hip hop artist by day, the dishonest music industry leads the Postman on his own agendas.    The half cyborg rap phenom has a knack for overthrowing the industry rules and standards.    Guided by his intelligent brother Christobal The Vision he seeks revenge in the favor of the nobody’s.    On a Friday night trouble is brewing on the south side.    Political ties leads the Postman down a path of anger and destruction!    A knock at the door begins the night of terror.    “Who is it?” Relly responds “It’s your cousin Boom!”    Boom rarely comes out at a time like this so the postman knew it was trouble!    “Come in” he announces.    Boom entered the house with a face of disappointment.    “Somebody hit my Cafe around 7:30 pm”....

Exclusive Interview with music Artist Chanidu

Chanidu

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing?

My name is Chinedu Nwaziri  a.k.a. CHANIDU as my artist name.

I am originally from Imo State, Nigeria in West Africa. I am just one of ten children of my parents.

My parents put ten of us through college. I mean we grew up average middle class riding on the shoulders of Almighty God alone.

What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician?

I would say multi-genre, a little bit of this and that. Listening to my music, you can hear a little bit of Country, Pop and Rock blends. more like a Modern Alternative rock artist. Whenever you hear more pop dance beats, that is experimental , just to see if people like that.

Obviously there is not one artist who decided to become a musician. It comes naturally, you are either an instrumentalist, a songwriter or a singer, any of these can cause you to become a musician.

There is no set time to manifest your talent, you can start at young age through old age and by the way there is no age limit in making music as long as you are physically and mentally capable.

Who are some of the notable artists and people that influenced your career thus far?

Every musician from the seventies to present has had some influence on me. The two Country legends who had the most impact on me are Dolly Parton and Don Williams, just the way they write with sentiments. In Rock music I would say the Simple Minds and Candlebox rock band. In pop-rock music , the beatles.

Could you tell us about your latest projects and its direction?

Currently I'm working on an EP for this year but I also have another single due to release this month.

The title is "What's love without you".

What should we expect from you in the near future?

In the near future I want to get more people listening to my music, visiting and interacting with me on my website at Chanidumusic.com , and on all social media platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.

Could you give us some advice that you can offer to someone who is just getting started in making music?

One thing I have not done is forgetting my passion for music. I am frequently faced with challenges in life but songwriting provides a way of escape for me. I believe it is easier to quit what you cannot do than what you can do. This means the affinity gets stronger when you like what you do.

Moreover quitting sometimes indicates failure which brings about regrets.

Are there any important achievements you have gained since beginning to do music?

I think the most important achievement I have made is getting people to listen to my music. All lyrics written and sung by me.

Besides music, what are some of the things that you are into?

Besides music I like travelling, swimming, watching soccer and wrestling.

Are you currently on tour or planning to be?

I have been asked if I would like to open shows for some artists. As you know most independent artists cannot afford  tours because of  expenses and liabilities involved. My answer is yes I will be willing to consider that.

Any last remarks

I appreciate this invitation and I am grateful to  you and everyone listening to  my music. I hope to continue to make more music as it appears I"m gathering more listeners.Thank you to all.
