Miztuh Chazs Miztuh Chazs "500MICS" Album Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kansas City, Ks — December 18, 2015 — Still buzzing off of a brief European promo tour, Alabama native, Miztuh Chazs releases his 5th studio album "500MICS". It has been 5 years since his critically acclaimed Indie album A.W.O.L. surfaced and now he is back to once again push the boundaries of his craft. The mix of lyrical wordplay and signature AMP instrumentals creates a unique sound that only Miztuh Chazs has mastered. No other project has proven this more than his current project "500MICS" which is set to release mid December.

As a Midwest ambassador, Miztuh Chazs continue to bend the curve of the definition of Hip Hop. With high energy beats, his album gives an exquisite blending of jazz, soul, and rock with a perfect hybrid of 1940’s piano style music, southern Hip Hop rhythm mixed with an amped club vibe and a fresh touch of satire about life. Both an artist, songwriter, beat producer, and entertainer he has spanned various states in the U.S. from California to Tennessee and overseas to Germany and France.

In recent interviews, it was said that Miztuh Chazs is an "Iconic underground artist with amazing business smarts and street savvy" by VirtuallyLoaded.com "Setting The Record Straight". When asked about "500MICS" third single "College Boy Fresh" MusikFace.com says "he continue to bend the curve of the definition of Hip Hop". "Miztuh Chazs has proved that he has made his name in Hip/Hop a permanent stay" says Caleb "C-Harv" Harvey, thacrib.com. With a unique style it was Joshua Glazer, URB Magazine whom took notice that Miztuh Chazs can "maintain the listener’s interest through his clever wordplay and catchy rhetoric".

Even with other projects in the works for Miztuh Chazs, he took a long step back to fully focus on his album. One can almost say he meditated until his resolve became clear. Any listener or fan new and old can find a piece of themselves in this record. Because of this he created an entity that could stand up to most Hip Hop classics that are around today. 500MICS is the pinnacle of underground, indie, and hip hop music.

Dave Woodcock and the Dead Comedians are #Flyah

For the past decade Dave Woodcock has been carving out a reputation as one of the finest songwriters and most incendiary live performers around. First with his band Taste Of Shotgun whose prolific output (4 albums in 2 years) and legendary live performances caused a stir in the pre-New Yorkshire scene of the early noughties and then as a solo performer renowned for his passion and heart-on-sleeve balladry.
In 2007, he released the well-received mournful solo album ‘Wednesday’s Child’ which was compared favourably with ‘the best of Leonard Cohen and Richard Hawley’. Backed by his band The Dead Comedians, 2009 saw the release of the acclaimed and award-winning ‘Omaha High Low’ an album which married his distinctive style to a sympathetic full band sound.
2011’s ‘Poisoned Nights and Bar Room Lights’ further expanded the band’s sound and received more widespread critical praise eventually picking up the Best Album award at the Sheffield Scenester Awards in 2012, beating out the likes of The Arctic Monkeys. Since then, the band has undergone some line-up changes and written a new collection of songs with a harder rock sound which culminated in recording the new album ‘Medicine’ at Sheffield’s prestigious 2fly Studios.

Debbie Orta is #Flyah

Debbie Orta is a jazz vocalist with inventiveness and phrasing that comes from studying the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Clifford Brown, and Chet Baker. With years of travel throughout the world she enriched her natural talent for singing in a variety of rhythmic styles. She grew up with her parents’ LPs; swinging arrangements, great voices like Nancy Wilson, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra; soul music, dance music, the great Latin Jazz artists such as Cal Tjader and Tom Jobim - all of it evident in Debbie’s singing style and solid rhythmic sense on the Great American Songbook. She has written and collaborated on dozens of songs including the title song of her newly released debut jazz CD, “Child’s Play,” a captivating collection of eight jazz standards and four original songs; surprising arrangements in swing, bebop, bossa nova, and ballads.
Born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Miami, Debbie discovered her musical gifts as a child, constantly singing to records privately until she began to perform in public as a teen, winning first place in a city vocal competition. Debbie’s background includes dance, acting, guitar and flute lessons, plus classes in Music Theory at Miami Dade College and the University of Miami. Her professional life began with a record contract from Henry Stone at TK Productions and a Southeast U.S. tour with her own band. She appeared at classic Miami venues, The Forge, The Playboy Club, and Cye’s Rivergate, plus toured nightclub circuits around the U.S., which led her back to the Big Apple and opportunities to perform in the northeast.
She became a lead singer/dancer in a show at Bally’s casino in Atlantic City and toured from the Poconos to St. Louis. Debbie was invited to audition for a spot as a backup singer for Latin actor and singing sensation, Jose Luis Rodriguez “El Puma,” who was headlining at the Sands Casino. She was hired on the spot, performing that night in the main showroom. She embarked on a world tour throughout South America, Mexico, Europe and the U.S. in elite venues including L.A.’s Universal Amphitheater and Madison Square Garden. She also performed with Chayanne in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Debbie’s unique vocals swing hard, with echoes of the past and present; honey-dipped with a soulful edge that make you want to listen again and again. She also incorporates Latin and Brazilian jazz into her vast repertoire, and sings in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with a solid rhythmic delivery and impeccable taste. Her honesty and irony come across in her engaging stage presence. People find that they enjoy not only what she does, but who she is.

He was inspired early on by his father, George Tandy Sr., a well accomplished jazz musician and producer. Thru the years George have developed the tools and confidence he needed to realize his dreams by cultivating his writing skills, his ear for melody, and his natural ability to entertain. After years of writing and recording songs with his extremely talented siblings as well as training, performing, competing, and touring the world as a hip hop dancer, GTJ decided to venture out as a solo artist. Armed with only his voice and his keyboard he took to the stage. The south Florida spoken word poetry nights and "open mic" scene gained him thousands of dedicated supporters.
George Tandy, Jr. has combined his talent with an independent label, RedStar Entertainment (A Division of Redline Media Group).

Today, he maintains the standard of honesty with his art that he had as a child. This translates well into a vulnerable authenticity that endears him to his listeners. Jamsphere review for LeonDee makes Flyah

LeonDee: “Stay” brings us into the realm
of exquisitely superior chill-out pop music!
Singer-songwriter LeonDee’s thoughtful melodies are based on real life events and situations. Through the music he asks questions and finds the answers, he tries to communicate with the listener. The ability to sing in English, Russian, Spanish, German, Turkish and French is one of Leon’s great characteristics and his multi lingual songs have a great universal appeal. With the desire to take his music to the next level he has participated in the songwriting competitions across the country and now he is widely recognized as the fresh face with the big sound.
LeonDee recently his 8-track album entitled “Stay”. His voice is so enchanting, all the songs on it are simply superb and I love not having to use the skip button on it. LeonDee sounds like a sea at midnight in a dreamy moonlit atmosphere with sweet undertones. “Stay” is so full of soul and so mesmerizing that it will stick in your head for days even after one listen. LeonDee’s smoky voice curls over the funky lyrics and combined with an orchestra of sound it makes for a set of gorgeous songs.
I think all the songs on the album are fabulous, but the ones that stand out the most are “Liar”“You”, “Addicted”, “Loneliness” and “What Would I Do”. Each one is deep, luminous and something that you will love for a long time; excellent sophisticated music for any time of day or mood. LeonDee does not hide behind walls of sound, though the production is full and layered. His voice is the central instrument throughout the songs, and this can only be a good thing. It highlights that he is a versatile singer, confident and in control.
LeonDee offers a wonderful variety of musical flavors throughout the album. And with most of mainstream music sounding the same, it’s great that LeonDee does his own thing. Radio needs more like him. The album also has a sense of uplifting freedom, which adds another big plus sign to LeonDee’s song-writing skill. At the same time, it uses easy and simple words so the lyrics are understandable and the melodies of the songs can easily step into people’s minds too. In short it does what pop music should do: take you do a better place.

The emotions in each song are different – and LeonDee creates a distinctive soundscape for each, that is utterly breathtaking, capable of lifting you one hundred feet above the dullness of the city streets. The lyrics are deep, the melodies are beautiful and the songs overall are well produced and catchy. But ultimately it’s the combination of LeonDee’s voice and the music that turns into something which just gets under your skin and haunts your inner brain. It brings us into the realm of exquisitely superior chill-out pop music. Give it a chance and it will grow on you!

Gabbo Dracula is #Flyah

Jason “Gabbo” DupreeJason Dupree a.k.a Gabbo was born and raised in East Baltimore Maryland to a family of poets and musicians. Jason’s love for rap music began in the fourth grade and by the age of 16yrs old Jason was known to be one of Baltimore’s best MC’s. After countless school yard battles and dominating free- style ciphers his reputation increased which lead to him getting a record contract with Rough House Columbia however, the deal fell through. Shortly after Jason recorded two songs on a LL-Cool J compilation but, was never released. In 1999 Jason gained the attention from Jazz recording artist Kim Waters. “ Gab is the most talented artist I have ever worked with” stated Kim Waters. After developing a friendship with Kim, he began recording records with her along with other big name artist such as Dru-Hill’s Ruff Skolla to Def Jam producer J Funk who once stated “Gab has a good balance of commercial and street in his music adding to his incredible writing range”. Gab should have been 50 cent four years ago. I knew he was a star the first time I met him- Ruff Skolla. For as many low’s as Gabbo has experienced he has gained plenty of musical accomplishments. Taken his musical career to higher heights he was offered the opportunity in 2003 to open up for State Property & Roca Fella records at the Atlanta Georgia NBA All star weekend. This lead to commercial recordings for major league Baseball and theme music for Rasheed Wallace’s radio show. Gab is also a credited song writer registered with ASCAP and credited as producer and writer on his first CD “Gee’s up” released on Swan Dive records. When the word spread fast that Jason “Gabbo” Dupree was not only a lyrical genius but, also a well rounded land creative song writer he was approached to write “Stop Tryin” for an all girl group called Untouched at the time signed to an independent label known as incisive Entertainment.Disappointed in the way his career was heading Gabbo took a 4 year hiatus to reinvent himself lyrically. After soul searching Gabbo realized his love for music was greater than the needs of himself and in 2008 Gabbo began recording his second CD “Streets of Jupiter”.By 2009, Streets of Jupiter created a world wind of buzz throughout Maryland and eventually hitting radio airwaves. “Fly Away” the first single to be released off of “Streets of Jupiter” became the most requested song receiving 10 out of 10 on Morgan State’s 88.9 strictly hip hop where he currently holds raining champion for 3 weeks straight. And most recently “Fly Away” was given 4 out of 5 from internet radio show “Deep Flow Radio” and won an award.Gabbo has created a unique style interlocking his incredible use of word play along with his catchy choruses. While tracks like Most Incredible, Fly Away, Black Clouds and Solar Powered show the uniqueness of the album Gabbo is a chameleon and has street tracks like Leave em pissed and space ships. “I’m natural, 100% about the lyric, I am the thinking man, the working man, the poor man, the hustler, I’m the rich, I’m the single mom. I am the prophet”. - Jason “Gabbo” Dupre“ Gabbo has made alot of noise on the Internet and magazines such as This is 50 .com,Nappyboy.com,Shaddyville Dj's.com,and much more even allhihop.com where he put up off his new album" The One and Only"( Money On My Mind) witch the first day up in a 24 hour period gave him over 20,000 hits witch landed him a deal with R B C Record Label out of Cali. A 2 year deal signed may 10 2010 R B C has top notch artist such as Jill Scott, Snoop,2 Short, and E40 just to name a few.In April Gabbo appeared in the Source Magazine in off the radar ,Don Diva,Fever Mag.Check for his E P album release Sept.21 2010Gab is destined to be a hip-hop superstar.Gabbo takes pride in illustrating how his passion for Hip Hop is cut from the finest cloth.Says Brace Urself of The Source Magazine.Though he attributes the legend's to his success,Gab's ready to take a tittle of his own"I no longer want to be good , I want to be the best!"
THE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH The chosen one, the pick of the liter, the next big thing, all words used in describing rap artist Gabbo. But for me the diamond in the rough best fits the crowned jewel of Baltimore, Maryland. Whose first taste of National success came in 2009 with the release of his independent rap album 'Streets Of Jupiter'.. That would go on to become an underground classic. In the streets, the local hip hop scene, and radio shows just loved it. Songs like 'Fly Away', 'Black Clouds', and 'Money On My Mind' made it's way through the music industry and internet. Thisis50.com, Shadyvilledjs, and other hip hop sites carried the music. On Allhiphop.com Gabbo had 20,000 views in 24hrs. The Source Magazine featured Gab in it's off the radar column. The writer states "Gabbo's music is cut from the finest cloth." Later that year in 2010 his music would get the attention of RBC Records, and by summer he was signed to the record label, and released 'Gabbo The One And Only' digitally online. Along side good friend and talented producer Millameter, 'The One And Only' was a hot album. "Street Hop at it's finest!" but with little promotion and with RBC's bigger named artist such as Tech N9ne and E-40 getting most of the attention, the album made little noise on the mainstream scale. But in terms of talent, intelligence and charisma, RBC Records owner Brian Shafton said "Gabbo is the total package, or in one word he's DOPE!" I would even say he is as good as the great ones, slick as Jay, deep as Nas. JUST HOW GOOD IS GABBO? As soon as he walks through the door people want to sign him. As a young teen in the late 90's Rough House Columbia offered a deal. In the early 2000's LL Cool J's Roc The Bells brand wanted Gabbo. Think about this...! He doesn't have a million views on youtube, he's not all over mix tapes, or on bigger artist records. He's just a B-More Emcee who put out an album that caught New Yorks eye then signed with a West Coast label with little fan fare just pure talent...WOW! Gabbo is working on a new album now, his first single drops this summer , I can't wait to hear it, but this go round, I hope the whole world hears it too! Check Gabbo out on Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter, and buy 'Gabbo The One And Only' on Itunes. You can also get 'Streets Of Jupiter' upon request on Facebook.

Strangely Alright is #Flyah

Take Weezer and Super Furry Animals sprinkled with some Bowie, and then add confessional lyrics ala John Lennon and you have Strangely Alright, a 5 piece Power Pop Band from the Seattle, WA area that has, as Rockford Rowley from The Weekly Volcano says, “an undeniable emotional appeal. Ringing, triumphant chords and lyrics that allude to conquered tribulations immediately make the music relatable to everyone. Time can have a tricky way of beating people down and telling them to forget who they wanted to be and who they are. The fact that some members of the strangely clan are in recovery brings to mind the reality that people can find what was once lost.
Their song, “Crying Shame” was nominated for the 2013 NWME Song of the Year in the alt/classic rock category and recently SA's music was included on the hit Seattle sketch comedy show "The 206"..
Critical acclaim for their recent singles along with shows at the prestigious Art On The Ave and The Western Washington State Fair and a appearance on Click 98.9 FM's HOMEGROWN have been some of the band's recent highlights. .
Strangely Alright's last CD ‘The Time Machine Is Broken’ received rave reviews and radio airplay from around the world, including Great Britain, Australia and Sweden!
A track from the album, “Crying Shame”, was nominated for the NWME song of the year in the alt/classic rock category and recently SA's music was included on the hit Seattle sketch comedy show "The 206". They have been featured artist on a number of northwest shows including NWCZ’s ‘The Convergence Zone”, ‘The Aquarium” and “The Internal Narcissist”.
SA Singer Songwriter Regan Lane has had placement and airplay of his heartfelt pop and rock songs on numerous TV shows throughout the US, including A&E's Biography,NBC Sports,VH1's Top Twenty Countdown and Best Week Ever, Anthony Bourdains' No Reservations and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew along with many other cable and network shows.
His jubilant pop song 'U Won't Believe' was heard on NBC's "Race across America" and was also the theme song for "Puget Sounds TV", a Northwest TV show featuring local and national indie artists. "The Ocean Makes Her Cry'"was recently played on The Discovery Channels' "Strictly Sex With Dr. Drew: Am I Normal?" and his pop gem 'Junkie' was heard on a recent Johnny Knoxville's MTV special.
So Regan's 80’s pop star experience, Ken Schaff''s driving hard rock influences, Jason Bair's rocking military precision on drums, Ray Hayden's keyboard crush on all things prog rock and Sean Van Dommelen's crunchy white boy blues, all collide together creating their unique raw, energetic, sound deep seated with emotion. Lane’s charismatic presence and ability to get asses out of their seats and the underlying lyrical messages of hope, empathy, and love make each new catchy SA song an audience favorite!

Meresha - "New Revolution"

Meresha - "New Revolution"
Genre: Electronica, eclecto-pop
Alien-loving vegan singer, songwriter, musician, composer and producer – at only 18 years old, Meresha recently launched her EP “new revolution”.  She is a force to be reckoned with.
Many artists talk about chasing their dream and following whatever path is laid out in front of them. Truthfully, though, most of them never leave their hometowns and cities and expect it all to come to them. Then you have Meresha. She was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, and was influenced deeply by artists such as Robert Plant, Joss Stone, Freddie Mercury, Björk, Hayley Williams and James Blake as she honed her craft. By the age of 15, she knew it was time to put her money where mouth is and uprooted her life and her family and relocated to sunny Florida in order to pursue her music career. With her “New Revolution” video, it’s very apparent that she is “in it to win it,” and cuts no corners in her pursuit of perfection.

With the release of "New Revolution", Meresha plans to take the world by storm. A trendsetter, Meresha became the first artist to launch an EP exclusively on the new social media site tsu, one week before it was available publicly. She made videos with the CEO, prominent tsu users, the tsu leadership team as well as prominent charities ahead of the launch.

What makes Meresha’s music extraordinary is her determination to utilize each and every one of her talents. Meresha wrote and sung every song on her album, and as a pianist, guitarist and drummer, she composed and performed each song as well. Her sound – a soulful voice with modern beats – is a unique blend that people crave. “New Revolution”, the title track on her EP, is a celebratory song that Meresha hopes each listener will interpret to be meaningful for his or her own “revolution”. “New Revolution” recently won or was semi-finalist in several global music competitions, and was praised by the music press and has received extensive global radio play.

For the “New Revolution” video, Meresha enlisted 5 time MTV VMA nominee David Rousseau (Pitbull, Magic!, Enrique Iglesias, LMFAO, Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Wayne) to helm the director’s chair. The resulting collaboration is one of pure energy and excitement. At only 18 years old Meresha shows a knack and comfort level in front of the camera that most of us can only dream of. Just like most revolutions, the video happens on the street. Meresha and her crew find themselves drawn to an old boom box and alleyways adorned with spray pain murals. The choreography is loose but meticulous, and the overall vibe of the video lands somewhere between the carefree attitude of the Summer Of Love and the hustle of the streets of early NYC hip-hop.
One of Meresha’s favorite songs on the album, “you”, is more personal. She invites you to witness her “softer side” and tells a story she’s crafted about two individuals who admire each other but don’t know how the other feels.  A powerful ballad that demonstrates the range of her voice, it is a bit mysterious, but ends well for the song’s heroes.
Other songs on the EP include the cool “lemonade city” and smooth “august".
Haven’t heard Of Meresha yet?  You soon will, if she achieves her proclaimed goal of taking over the world.  She promises, though, to be a benevolent leader…
Turn it up!

Some of those musicians in past and present include Joseph Wooten on Keyboards (Joseph and the Hands of Soul, Steve Miller Band, and Victor Wooten Band), Joseph Michael on Vocals, Danner on Vocals (Domeshots), Halie Loren on Vocals, Paul Biondi on Woodwinds, Drummers Paul Smith and Erik Avery, and many more.

JMH pursues his mix of Rock music, dubbed "Hybrid Rock", a majority of the time, with experimental excursions into other styles on occasion. Initial album releases by Squanky Kong were done with a mix of this diversity, a natural point to avoid being pigeon-holed. Subsequent releases have been intended to keep more focused on the Hybrid Rock while saving the all-out experimentation and exploration for separate side releases and occasionally live.

The live performances vary depending on the band line-up, with House switching between guitar and bass and lead vocalist Joseph Michael being the main two members currently. Other supporting members currently are Lamar Little on drums and Tarry McHailen of guitar/ bass. There are plans to eventually expand the line-up adding additional guitar and keyboard with future growth.

Morgan's Road is back with a hit!!

Morgan’s Road is a funk-infused jam band representing the best of South Carolina's sultry rock sound. Featuring frontman Ben Woodruff, master-class guitarist Cameron Allen, bassist Matt Chmielecki, drummer/vocalist Tyler Perry, Justin Banks on keyboards and percussion and Jeff Springs on lap steel and electric. The members of Morgan's Road are noted for their outstanding musicianship and camaraderie in sharing stage with other bands and special guests.

Like many bands today, Morgan’s Road is a collaborative effort between artists who wear varied professional hats to maintain their momentum. In spite of this, they share a passion for all things related to music and an all-hands-on-deck mentality for establishing the band’s presence on the jam band circuit.

Ben, Tyler, Cameron, Justin, Matt and Jeff have decades of collective performing experience, each with past engagements and bands throughout the Southeast. From jam band and beach music to straight-ahead jazz, bebop, Southern rock, fusion and progressive, this mix is evident in their sound. The band routinely gigs at local clubs, notable venues and regional festivals. Together and while working in other bands, they have opened for many well-established artists, including Bob Weir & RatDog, moe., Umphrey’s McGee, John Scofield, Steve Winwood, Hootie & the Blowfish, Sister Hazel, Kellie Pickler, Colt Ford, Lee Brice, The Marshall Tucker Band, Devon Allman and Lady Antebellum.

The origins of the band were borne out of the passing of a longtime bandmate, bassist Chris Deaver, who was in the Kingstreet Band. In honor of their friend’s memory, Kingstreet and the Cameron Allen Trio came together as one band under the name Morgan’s Road. Soon after, Justin joined on having stepped down from the heavy tour circuit with the King Hippo band, and together, they bring an energy on stage that is palpable and a sound that resonates with fans whether they are playing to a crowd of a few hundred or over 23,000.

In 2015, they debuted their first album, Topics of Love, and have received outstanding reviews and accolades from fans and critics alike. Topics of Love is available on iTunes, Amazon, SoundCloud, Rhapsody, Virgin Mobile, Spotify and Google Play Music.

El Chapo puts 100 million on Donald Trumps head

With the temperature outside slowly but surely dipping into winter levels, that annoying little tradition otherwise known as hindsight starts to rear its unabashedly annoying head. 2015, though we still have a little less than three months to completely upend this assessment, has given us the rise (or, in the case of these two gentlemen, the rebirth) of many a legend of pop culture, though two titans of headlines snatching reign bafflingly supreme: Donald Trump, that guy you kind of recognize from that one reality show you could never really bring yourself to watch, is still running for president. El Chapo, that guy whose life is so undeniably similar to the plot of the greatest AMC series you've never seen, is still running from those not keen on his most recent prison escape.
Combining these two highly tweetable figures, of course, results in some obvious fireworks. As previously reported, El Chapo and his family are not huge fans of Trump's laughably stupid statement on so-called immigration reform. Trump, for reasons entirely clear, has taken this disliking quite personally, even going so far as to reportedly enlist the service of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. However, such efforts apparently haven't deterred the increasingly threatening tactics of El Chapo.

Yes, according to TeleSurTV, El Chapo has increased the bounty on Trump's hair hat to a less-than-paltry $100 million. "He was mad," a predictably unnamed source tells the publication. "He wants Donald Trump dead and will pay any amount of money to have Donald Trump’s head."

Meanwhile, the entirety of American politics wishes desperately for Donald to quietly exit the 2016 race for the White House, an exit that would essentially be a gift to the nation too precious for a specific valuation.
