Craymo Exclusive Interview

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing?

I grew up in Ogdensburg, a small city on the St. Lawrence River on the Canadian border in upstate New York. I was the oldest of five siblings. I think I was singing when I came out of the womb! I fell in love with music at a very young age. My earliest childhood memory, actually, is of me at 3 or 4 years old singing "I wanna Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles into my mother's hairbrush in the mirror while dancing on my parent's bed!  I am obsessed with music!  I worked as a nightclub and radio DJ for over 30 years just so I could be close to music. It's the greatest escape to put on headphones

and just live in the moment and get lost in a song. Music has been my confidant, my savior, my escape and my best friend at times.  It's always there when I need it the most and it doesn't judge.

What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician?

I  make alternative pop music in all its forms, rock, electronic, etc. I first decided to be an entertainer while watching the Jackson 5 and the Osmonds on TV.  Then when I saw David Cassidy on the Partridge Family, I knew I wanted that life!

Who are some of the notable artists and people that influenced your career thus far?

Elton John, The Beatles, Madonna, Duran Duran, Elvis Presley, David Bowie

Could you tell us about your latest project?

My latest release is an EDM/Dance single called "Love Me Or Leave Me Alone" It's already won Best Dance Song in the 2022 Clouzine International Electronic Music Awards!

What should we expect from you in the near future?

I am working on a funky remake of Rick James "Give It To Me Baby!"

Could you give us some advice that you can offer to someone who is just getting started in making music?

Believe in yourself. You have to believe it before anyone else can. You have to be dedicated, you have to learn and practice, practice, practice! You also need to have patience. You will hear a lot of no’s before you hear a yes. Surround yourself with people who also believe in you. There are very few “overnight sensations” sometimes it takes many years. Network and make a lot of friends in the business. Believe!

Are there any important achievements you have gained since beginning to do music?

I performed as a male vocalist on Star Search 89 with Ed McMahon. My band opened for Smashmouth. I have had many songs licensed in TV shows and feature films and I am continuing those pursuits. Most recently I have been receiving Best Song and Best Music Video awards in several international song competitions!

Besides music, what are some of the things that you are into?

Tennis, acting, bowling, riding my bike!

Are you currently on tour or planning to be?

I am not on tour but would love to be! Hopefully soon.

Any last remarks?

Be kind and enjoy your beautiful existence

Exclusive Interview with Jacob Chacko

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing?

Humble roots from Malaysia of South Asian descent. Mostly lived in United States in the great state of New Jersey. Started from Jersey City to currently residing in New Milford. Had a good simple middle-class upbringing but always been exposed to music at a very young age via school/college, peers, church, etc.

What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician?

I started playing blues and rock but always with a commercial sensibility to sound. Started as a bass player but eventually morphed to guitar/rhythm/lead. Current genre would be defined as commercial modern rock.

Who are some of the notable artists and people that influenced your career thus far?

I come with so many influences from classic legends to current stars (cross genres).  The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Temptation, Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Queen, Food Fighters John Mayer, Muse, Beck, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Bring Me The Horizon, Blur, The Gorillaz, Rage Against The Machine, and even Babymetal. You do not need to speak English to get the vibe/sentiments of an artist. Let the music do the talking. I could go on and on because influences are a living and ongoing process.

Could you tell us about your latest project?

I kicked off my debut album “Better Now or Never” in early 2022. This is after a significant break from music for over fifteen years. Got my second wind and since then never looked back. To-date I have released seven singles; please check my Spotify and Youtube links:

Could you give us some advice that you can offer to someone who is just getting started in making music?

Find the passion/reason to make music. Spent time crafting music that reflect your values/interest and invest resources and effort to make it happen.

Are there any important achievements you have gained since beginning to do music?

The fact that I delivered a full album within a reasonable time and had a positive response from listeners. Significant learning curve from building my studio, learning to play various instruments, recording and creative process. Have been highlighted in many blogs/magazines, various radio stations (Museboat.com):

Brayden Tabakian Exclusive Interview

Where are you from and could you tell us a little bit of your upbringing?

I’m originally from Denver Colorado but over the course of many years have lived in different places, such as Arkansas and Missouri. I grew up in Arkansas with my parents and 3 siblings. My mom home schooled my siblings and I, while my dad worked a couple different jobs, being a pastor and working at a rehab center. It wasn’t until I moved back to Denver when I became interested in music. It was specifically drums that I started putting most of my attention to at the age of 13 and 14. I started posting videos of myself making drum covers and I would do that for years up till now. That all lead me to where I am now. I decided on top of drumming I wanted to start singing, and that is the start of where my music comes in!

What genre of music do you make and when did you first decide to be a musician?

I make whatever my heart is feeling but so far it’s mainly been in the genre of pop. I grew up in church playing to worship music, listened to pop music on the radio, but when it came to drums I loved trap the most. I built a lot of my “chops” by playing to artist like travis scott, drake, lecrae, and others like them. When I got into singing I went back to my roots of worship/ gospel and a couple of my favorite pop artist, being Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. This has all lead me to creating my own music where I take elements of each genre and make something special!

Who are some of the notable artists and people that influenced your career thus far?

I was in a band not too long ago before going solo with my friend Ethan. Ethan, who goes by the artist name Tanisako, taught me so much of what I know now when it comes to both singing and writing a song. Before meeting Ethan I’d never expressed my art other than playing drums, so i’m very grateful for him. As I said before, Justin Bieber has always been a huge influence for me. I love his r&b style of singing and melodies and it’s inspired many of my melodies. There’s so many others ranging from drummers like Matt Mcguire and Devon Taylor, to other singers (Chandler Moore, Maverick City Worship, Montell Fish and more.)

Could you tell us about your latest project?

My latest project is a single called “Age Like Wine.” I’m super in love with this song as it’s the first song fully written by me. The song is about a healing relationship that comes from forgiveness. I was able to show off some of my drumming on top of my vocals, which will be a first for many of my fans to hear! I’m super excited to see the reaction from them and even more excited for new listeners to get a hold of this song.

What should we expect from you in the near future?

There’s so much I want to say but then it wouldn’t be a surprise! Expect a lot more music and shows coming up!

Could you give us some advice that you can offer to someone who is just getting started in making music?

If you love what you are doing, then you will keep doing it no matter what anyone says. If it’s truly something you want to do, then that’s all that matters. Don’t ever limit yourself because there truly isn’t a limit! It’s easy to beat yourself up for not knowing how to do certain things, but you will learn overtime. it’s so important to take your time and be encouraging to yourself always.

Are there any important achievements you have gained since beginning to do music?

There aren’t too many that I consider achievements yet, however being able to have hundreds of thousands of people see my videos and listen to my music  is something i’ll never be able to grasp. That in itself is an achievement that i’m constantly grateful for. Knowing that people support me and the things i create, means the world to me.

Besides music, what are some of the things that you are into?

I love working out and it’s something I look forward to most days. I also sometimes play video games with friends and may even have just started my first anime show!

Are you currently on tour or planning to be?

I’m not on tour but I do plan to be in the near future. I can’t wait!
