Music Review Breathless – The Sidleys By Yami Cabrera

Music Review Breathless – The Sidleys By Yami Cabrera
[English]
Music connects diverse people in different countries and continents in an incredible way. A song can unify experiences of human beings who never thought to associate. Today we see how music is also capable of uniting a family, and becoming the center of its strength. The Sidleys are an example to follow in this regard. This family has managed to build their history through the fascinating language of music. The composition and performance of this art has been the combining element between the couple Steve Sidleys and Annie Sidleys, and their sons Sean, Ian and Colin.
The Sidleys over the years have formed a solid musical group. The band, since its creation in 2013 in Bethesda, Maryland, has already accumulated important albums such as Bittersweet (2013) and The Love You Make (2017). To this fabulous record career, The Sidleys add their most recent production, Breathless. This album could be the phonographic consolidation of the band, as well as the result of their diverse experiences of life as a family.
Breathless has a musical diversity and an incredibly strong energy. Each of the tracks tells captivating stories, through beautifully crafted lyrics and Annie's strenuous voice. The Sidleys achieve an interesting mix between musical styles such as Rock, Pop, Funk and Soul. The musical arrangements are totally coherent with the dramaturgical discourse; within them it is evident that the combination of the classical professional formation of the band members, especially the talented multi-instrumentalist Steve Sidleys. The band´s musical influences are easy to distinguish in sound elements from the music of artists like Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Keith Emerson, The Police, etc.
The 11 songs that appear in the production are a sample of the positive and necessary healing message that The Sidleys intends to convey. The energy of “Lately I Don´t See You Anymore”; Annie's beauty and vocal prowess on songs like "Lullabies" and "Sweetest Hush"; and the virtuosity in the interpretations of "Break Your Fall" and "Unbroken", caught my attention. However, there is no doubt that "Breathless" is the center of all the sentiment professed on the album. This track exposes the extreme emotions that caused this production, through a simple musical arrangement with little instrumentation but a powerful harmonic elaboration.
The performing quality is one of the strengths of this phonogram. Annie's voice is just wonderful, she sings like she's telling a dream story; the technique and rhythmic combinations used by Sean are evidence of his prodigious performance on drums; the enveloping bass sound played by Colin is sensational; and Ian's piano accompaniments denote an advanced understanding of harmony and jazz performance techniques.
The album was released on June 12, and is available now on majors streaming platforms. Also, you will have the possibility to buy the CD through the band's website thesidleys.com. This band promises to surprise his followers with this new album. Hopefully all expectations will be met.

The Beatles, Keith Emerson,The Police, etc.

21 Savage - Hot Take on Cheating?

21 Savage was spotted on the Million Dollaz Worth the Game Podcast. He was asked to give a hot take on amid cheating topics. 21 starts off by giving his experience a light that was hidden from the public view for many of years. CHECK OUT GEM - FLYAH EXLUSIVE INTERVIEW

GEM is to headline the Los Angeles Power Women Summit in December, bringing this new style of medical-music to the masses. She has been able to make use of her time in isolation: perfecting her EP, creating a YouTube channel and working on a plethora of collaborations with other global artists. The new single, If I’m Honest, is arguably the first of its kind. It has been specifically produced in the key of B. The musical note B is associated with the crown chakra, the 7th chakras in the Buddhist tantric system. Buddhists believe that by listening to music in this key, corresponding to the crown chakra, it can heal and awaken the listener, helping to release stored negative energy and energetic blockages in the body. WE HAD THE CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH GEM READ WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY!   How long have you been doing music and where you find the inspiration? Music has always been a part of my life, although being visible in the producers chair has been a natural progression over the past 4 ye

Michael Coleman Is back with another Anthem!

WE HAD A CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH MICHAEL COLEMAN, READ WHAT HE HAD TO SAY ABOUT HIS MUSICAL JOURNEY!   Michael Coleman, where are you from and what's it like in your hometown and how did you get the nickname "The Metropolitan Cowboy"?   I was actually born and raised in San Diego, California.  San Diego is just an awesome town although like everywhere else in California, it costs a fortune to live there.  My nickname, “The Metropolitan Cowboy” actually comes from a television project I was doing a few year’s back. I wrote and produced an adult-oriented sketch comedy show and since I was always dressed with a cowboy hat on and looked metrosexual we decided that should be the name of the show and my brand and I have been called that ever since.   How long have you been songwriting and where do you find the inspiration?   I’ve been writing since I was a kid, however I didn’t decide to take it seriously until I had a milestone birthday , I won’t tell you which one and it wa
